Our NHS Campaign
Here at Grant & Bestow we do things a little differently. For every £1 spent in our shop, we give 50p directly to charity. Each Collection in our shop is linked to a specific campaign and charity.
The NHS Collection is dedicated to the amazing people who make up the National Health Service. Since 1948, the NHS has been there for us all, through challenges and celebrations.
Our inspiring nurses, paramedics, ICU staff, GPs, physiotherapists and more work tirelessly everyday to support us. Today they are facing increasing pressures and strains this winter with the aftermath of Covid and the cost of living crisis.
That is why we have started an NHS Campaign, funded through sales of our NHS Collection. Keep reading to find out more.
Our Chosen Charity: NHS Charities Together
NHS Charities Together is a network of over 230 local and regional charities from all over the UK.
They support NHS workers and patients by providing training on how to fundraise, leading fundraising campaigns and funding selected projects.
They have funded over 600 projects throughout the UK, aimed at supporting NHS workers of all professions.
When Covid hit, NHS Charities Together launched the first ever national appeal, raising over £150 million to help our amazing NHS workers through the pandemic.
What does buying a G&B NHS Hoodie mean for NHS Charities Together?
When you buy any item in our NHS Collection, we donate 50% of what you pay directly to NHS Charities Together.
NHS Charities Together use donations to fund a range of initiatives such as wellbeing rooms that give staff somewhere quiet to go during long shifts.
They also pay for dedicated mental health counselling and training for staff in NHS hospitals so they can manage their daily challenges.
